THE APOCALYPSE IS NOW.
OUR DARKEST DREAMS AND VISIONS WILL COME TRUE.
THE BEAST WILL TAKE CONTROL OVER ALL THE GOVERNMENTS ON EARTH
AND LEAD HUMANITY TO RUIN.
MAD COWS WILL ROMP THROUGH MARLBORO COUNTRY.
BIG MAC CHOP DOWN THE RAIN FORESTS.
THE PLANET OVERHEATS, THE ICECAPS MELTING.
WEALTH IS CONCENTRATED IN THE HANDS OF A SMALL GROUP,
KNOWN HISTORICALLY AS A FINANCIAL OLIGARCHY.
THEY CONTROL THE POLITICIANS AND MEDIA WHO THEN MANIPULATE
THE MASSES USING SCIENTIFICALLY ORIENTED ADS, ENCOURAGING
PATHOLOGICAL INTERPERSONAL RIVALRIES.
THE GOAL OF COMPETITION IS A LUMP SUM OF MONEY.
NATURAL SELECTION, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST
HAS MUTATED INTO THE ATTAINMENT OF LUXURY
AFTER ALL THE EXTERNAL FOES WERE DISPOSED OF.
ART DIGS AROUND IN ITS OWN EXCREMENT
AND FAMOUS ARTISTS TEAR OFF WHAT THEY CAN FROM THE PIE.
PLANTS AND CHEMICALS THAT ENABLE ONE TO GAZE UNDER THE VEIL OF ILLUSION
AND CONCEPTS ARE FORBIDDEN AND DESTROYED.
OVERPOPULATED HUMANITY IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY DEHUMANIZED
AND THE SAME IS TRUE OF SCIENCE.
PHARMACOLOGY DEEPENS THE INABILITY OF HUMANS
TO TOLERATE EVEN THE SMALLEST PAIN AND DISCOMFORT.
UNDER THE PRETEXT OF CURING ILLNESSES AND AGING, SCIENTISTS
— WHO HAVE FORGOTTEN THE GOAL OF SCIENCE AND EVERY
SORT OF HUMAN PROCESS, IN SELF-RECOGNITION —
ATTEMPT TO UNRAVEL THE HUMAN GENETIC CODE.
THE WEALTHY STRIVE FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN BIOTECHNOLOGY
BOTH PHYSICALLY AND PSYCHICALLY.
THE CAPACITY OF THE BRAIN HAS INCREASED, AGING SLOWED,
THE EVOLUTIONARY HUMAN PROCESS IS ENTERING ANOTHER PHASE.
A NEW STRAIN OF LEADERS IS BEING BRED.
IN THE INCUBATORS OF LABORATORIES THE FIRST ARTIFICIAL
HUMANS ARE BEING CULTIVATED.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO MEASURE OUT EXACTLY FOR THESE LIVING BEINGS
A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF INTELLIGENCE, EMOTIONS, DURATION, EVERYTHING.
WE ARE THE SECOND TO LAST GENERATION OF BORN HUMANS.
WE WILL GRADUALLY BE REPLACED, WE WILL BE REPLACED.
PEOPLE WILL NO LONGER GIVE BIRTH, IT IS TOO UNECONOMICAL AND PAINFUL.
SIN IS DONE AWAY WITH, EVERYONE IS CONTENT.
THE ENDLESSLY REPLICATING CLONES OF GENETICALLY CULTIVATED SUPERHUMAN
BEINGS WILL RULE OVER A PROGRAMMED HUMANKIND.
IT IS UNAVOIDABLE.
IT CAN’T BE STOPPED.

To be continued.

Nick Land – An Experiment in Inhumanism Nick Land – An Experiment in Inhumanism
Nick Land was a British philosopher but is no longer, though he is not dead. The almost neurotic fervor with which he scratched at the scars of reality has seduced more than a few promising academics onto the path of art that offends in its originality. The texts that he has left behind are reliably revolting and boring, and impel us to castrate their categorization as “mere” literature.
The Top 10 Czech Artists from the 1990s The Top 10 Czech Artists from the 1990s
The editors of Umělec have decided to come up with a list of ten artists who, in our opinion, were of crucial importance for the Czech art scene in the 1990s. After long debate and the setting of criteria, we arrived at a list of names we consider significant for the local context, for the presentation of Czech art outside the country and especially for the future of art. Our criteria did not…
Acts, Misdemeanors and the Thoughts of the Persian King Medimon Acts, Misdemeanors and the Thoughts of the Persian King Medimon
There is nothing that has not already been done in culture, squeezed or pulled inside out, blown to dust. Classical culture today is made by scum. Those working in the fine arts who make paintings are called artists. Otherwise in the backwaters and marshlands the rest of the artists are lost in search of new and ever surprising methods. They must be earthbound, casual, political, managerial,…
Wicked / Interview with Jim Hollands Wicked / Interview with Jim Hollands
“A person must shake someone’s hand three times while gazing intently into their eyes. That’s the key to memorizing their name with certainty. It is in this way that I’ve remembered the names of 5,000 people who have been to the Horse Hospital,” Jim Hollands told me. Hollands is an experimental filmmaker, musician and curator. In his childhood, he suffered through tough social situations and…
