DIVUS PRAHA | en cs

The fun is over! We interrupt your TV programme and call upon you to build your own creche at the National Gallery in Perla. Bring or create here a part of the creche at your discretion, physical and financial condition, faithlessness and blasphemous urge, and artistic taste. This time, no limitations will be imposed on your choice of style, genre, historical, mythical, fictitious or real figures, their number and artistic rendering. Our-your Promised Land needs you! More than us or the Christmas itself.

With music for free and refreshments and cold and hot drinks for friendly prices. Make sure to dress warm. Some basic tools will be available, if you have any special requirements, please, let us know beforehand. As soon as the task is completed, your broadcasting channels will be released to flow free again...

Furthermore, there is our impermanent collection National Gallery to be seen and books and magazines published by Divus publishing house to be browsed through and bought.

And at 5 p.m. a performance by the musical group Atlas Hub

Do you create things that someone might want to buy as a Christmas present? Contact us, bring it over and sell it at Perla.

Those working in the fine arts who make paintings are called artists. Otherwise in the backwaters and marshlands the rest of the artists are lost in search of new and ever surprising methods. They must be earthbound, casual, political, managerial,…

Magda Tóthová Magda Tóthová
Borrowing heavily from fairy tales, fables and science fiction, the art of Magda Tóthová revolves around modern utopias and social models and their failures. Her works address personal and social issues, both the private and the political. The stylistic device of personification is central to the social criticism emblematic of her work and to the negotiation of concepts used to construct norms.…
