REPOSSESSION IN THE BLACK TENT OF DIVUSPRAGERKABARETT
We invite you to actively participate in a month-long festival of financial difficulty, economic oppression, and material losses. This
tragic event is envisioned as an open struggle against financial brotherhoods and repossession agents, taking revenge upon unjust courts,
transforming suffering from deprivation into the bliss of freedom, and a call for self-confident entry into the purgatory of debtors and the
chronically needy. We welcome documents, stories, testimonies, ideas, and fiction in all formats. We will exhibit film recordings, short
videos, printed documentation, photographs, and works of art, and will also present live theater, cabaret, and music performances. Join us!
Drop your your ideas, comments, and questions to the box in black tent in Divus Pragerkabarett or send it to: Eastern Alliance, Bubenská 1,
Praha 7, 170 00, Czech Republic or via email: exekuce at easternalliance.net
or call: +44 (0) 7879 315 715 (UK), +49 (0) 1512 9088 150 (DE), +420 608 023 791 (CZ) Deadline: 30 June 2012. You have nothing to lose!
Vanity is freedom! Your EA Repo Man. www.easternalliance.net

Goff & Rosenthal gallery, Berlin, November 18 - December 30, 2006 Society permanently renegotiates the definition of drugs and our relationship towards them. In his forty-five minute found-footage film The Conquest of Happiness, produced in 2005, Oliver Pietsch, a Berlin-based video artist, demonstrates which drugs society can accommodate, which it cannot, and how the story of the drugs can be…

“A person must shake someone’s hand three times while gazing intently into their eyes. That’s the key to memorizing their name with certainty. It is in this way that I’ve remembered the names of 5,000 people who have been to the Horse Hospital,” Jim Hollands told me. Hollands is an experimental filmmaker, musician and curator. In his childhood, he suffered through tough social situations and…
